Fujifi lm rebrands HS Series as Acuity Aristo


Fujifilm has undergone a major product rebrand with its HS Series now being labelled as Acuity Aristo, marking the platform’s evolution from a development- phase project to a commercially available high-speed inkjet solution. The rebrand brings the platform within Fujifilm’s respected Acuity portfolio, alongside the Acuity Prime and Acuity Ultra ranges, signalling the machine’s readiness for broader global deployment. The Acuity Aristo series is the result of a multi-year collaboration between Fujifilm and Barberán, a Spanish manufacturer with over 90 years of engineering expertise in high-performance, single-pass printing systems.


New US print facility for swissQprint


Printer manufacturer swissQprint has released pictures of its newly proposed US offices as it looks to grow its presence in the region. The new facility will enhance the company’s ability to serve customers and showcase its technology. It is situated on three acres within West Dundee, Illinois, located 10 minutes closer to Chicago O’Hare airport than the current premises.


It spans 24,7780ft sq, featuring a 4,757ft sq showroom and hospitality area, a training centre, and a 2,192ft sq area for machine refurbishment and service.


The expansion has also increased storage and office space, rounding a total size increase to 130% compared to the current building in Elgin. Additionally, 400 solar panels are planned for installation. Work has begun on the construction, with the ground-breaking ceremony taking place on July 9. The building is scheduled to be completed by mid 2026. Kilian Hintermann, CEO of swissQprint, said: “This new facility for our US subsidiary is a testament to our commitment to serving our North American customers even better.”

IPIA invites industry to Annual Conference


The Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) will look to discuss the critical issues of business growth, opportunity and market challenges within the industry as it is set to hold its Annual Conference. To be held at the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry on August 28, the event’s theme is ‘Beyond the Margin – charting new territory for growth, adaptation and commercial success in print’.

Large-format print provider, Pyramid, can now offer installation services for HP printers after two of its hardware sales team became HP Latex engineers. Carl Birchall and Cole Appleby completed the intensive fi ve-day programme held in Barcelona. During the week, the pair were immersed in


HP’s advanced Latex print technologies, covered a full spectrum of critical competencies. Mr Birchall and Mr Appleby are now authorised to deliver full-scale installation, commissioning,


and after-sales support services for HP Latex roll-fed printers across the UK. Neil McCarthy, head of sales and marketing, said: “Carl and Cole have met HP’s rigorous standards in Barcelona, and this enables us to elevate our installation and support services to the next level. “This certifi cation exemplifi es our dedication to equipping our clients with peak performance from their HP Latex systems.”
