The Exe Valley Leisure Centre in Tiverton, Devon recently installed solar panel arrays across its parking area and main building, generating 122 kWp of renewable energy to meet 70% of the facility's annual demands. SIG Building Solutions supplied custom-designed canopy structures to support the 287 PV panels, allowing for continuous panel mounting without additional roofi ng. The project, completed by SunGift

Solar, is part of Mid Devon District Council's decarbonisation strategy and is expected to save 57.34 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, helping the leisure centre keep down its running costs.
