“EVE Online on PC and Metroid Prime on Switch have been keeping me suitably busy after office hours, but with PSVR2 out in the wild I’ve been getting serious VR urges again of late. Now this issue has gone to print (on time I hope), I might dust off the old Quest 2 for some old school (Doom, Quake et al) FPS action the way it should be experienced but was never originally intended.”
Richie Shoemaker, Editor
“Hey again! Nintendo has put Game Boy games on the Switch, so in the evenings I’ve been putting time into classics from my childhood like Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, and Kuru Kuru Kururin. It has been a blast. I’ve also been a bit obsessed with Star Trek: Picard Season 3, which under new showrunner Terry Matalas feels like the show we should’ve gotten when it was announced. I’m just glad they got there eventually!”
Vince Pavey, Staff Writer
“I’ve not really been playing any new video games on the Xbox since the last issue went out, but I have been watching new episodes of both The Apprentice and The Last of Us. I’ve also been listening to the new album by Narrow Head called Moments of Clarity. If you were ever into the rumbling guitars of 1990s grunge, then you should definitely check it out too.”
