frictionless. Players engage. Studios benefit. And verified projects on the ground get funded. That experience and that optimism is what has led us


to launch Battle for the Habitats, PlanetPlay’s flagship biodiversity campaign for 2026. Going live on Earth Day, April 22, 2026, Battle for the


Habitats will be the largest collective biodiversity activation the games industry has ever delivered. Our ambition is bold but simple: unite 100+ mobile, PC and console games, alongside major streamers and platforms, to raise $1 million for biodiversity and habitat restoration. This fun and impactful campaign will fund long-term


forest restoration in Timor-Leste, supporting native ecosystems and protecting endangered wildlife, including the critically endangered yellow-crested cockatoo. 100%

HOW IT WORKS: PARTICIPATION WITHOUT FRICTION At the heart of the campaign is a shared narrative framework that invites players to choose a hero animal and battle to protect habitats through gameplay. The two- month campaign culminates on World Environment Day (June 5) in a high-profile, streamer-led finale Two Teams, One Planet, a global ‘Final Boss’ showdown designed to drive engagement, awareness and fundraising at scale.
