THIS YEAR’S MCV/DEVELOP 30 UNDER 30 is a somewhat bittersweet affair for me, as it will presumably be the last one I’m involved with, barring any miracles happening in the near future.
It does, however, still fill me with hope to see and hear about the hard work, dedication, and passion of so many future leaders of the games industry, and know that so many wonderful people are out there doing their best to keep things going, and to make both games and the industry around them better than they were yesterday.
There are so many young superstars out there that the selection process for the 30 Under 30 is genuinely awe inspiring, even in a time rife with layoffs, redundancies and companies consolidating or going under. As usual, the decision making process was really difficult. There are a lot of incredible people out there!
Congratulations to everyone who was nominated, and to all of our finalists. Each and every person in this year’s cohort is an outstanding individual, and if you made it onto this list you should be very proud. If you didn’t, and you’re still eligible in 2026, I encourage you to try again next year.
