How do you describe Empyreal to other people when you tell them about it? I like to describe it as “an Action RPG about Transcendental Revelation”. are a vast number of features, systems, mechanics and hidden details. It is a “true RPG”. And the story is filled with references to history, philosophy, theology and literature, some which might be familiar, but many that are esoteric.
You’ve been around as a studio since 2018. Has it been all Empyreal since then, or have you been up to other things? The first concept we developed was in the same universe as Empyreal but with a different time period, setting, and aesthetic.

into our studio which allowed us to hire the team to develop a full game. Once we had gone from a start-up of two or
three people to a development team of 12, though, I did revisit that initial concept, and that’s when it transformed into what would eventually become Empyreal. There are many elements from the first concept that survived, however. For example, the
