Registration goes live for Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2023
Celebrating its 25th anniversary next year, Southern Manufacturing & Electronics, the UK’s largest and longest running electronics show, will return to Farnborough International Exhibition Centre in early February. Hundreds of exhibitors in the electronics sector will show their products and services to thousands of enthusiastic visitors

igh-technology electronics production equipment and components, automation systems, business and
engineering software, and metrology equipment will be key elements of the event, which attracts companies from all over the UK, continental Europe and further afield.
As in previous years, the show is split roughly equally between electronics and mechanical engineering. Its strongest feature is the huge variety of participants, making it easy for people to find exactly what they are looking for and to complete multiple procurements in a single visit. There are no barriers between the two sections of the show, so visitors can easily come across companies offering items of interest that were not on their original shopping list. The show, which is on course to be a sell-out this year too, will bring together under one roof just about every element of electronics production and test. On display will be everything from passive components to highly-specialised sensors and OEM parts, plus a broad range of production equipment, with many live demonstrations alongside static exhibits.
Suppliers of consumables, labelling machines, storage and handling systems and additional essentials that businesses often need will also be there. Firms will promote an impressive variety of hardware and software subcontracting services, with representation from every electronics production discipline from design and contract assembly to PCB production and inspection.
Of particular importance is the specialist feature within the show, AutoAero, which focuses on manufacturing within the automotive and aerospace sectors, both of

which are vital to the UK economy. As well as the exhibition and demonstration areas, there will be the usual seminar programme comprising technical and business topics covering a wide range of issues facing manufacturing businesses today. Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2023 opens from 7th to 9th February. There is a free bus service between Farnborough’s train stations directly to the show. Parking and admission to the exhibition are also free of charge. More information and tickets are available from
