EA DEMOPACK with Wifi, BT and 2.8“ IPS display Designing a product with a colour TFT display and touch-screen does not have to be complex. MMS Electronics has available the EA uniTFTs smart displays to get projects off to a flying start. With integrated graphics controller, extensive graphics functions, USB, I²C, SPI and serial interfaces. The EA uniTFTs displays use improved IPS-Panels. This means contrast and colours are retained even at extreme viewing angles. High brightness typ. 1,000 cd/m² and above, readable in direct sunlight. Optically bonded PCAP touch. The display is programmed using the uniTFTDesigner Windows software with simulator and numerous ready to run examples. The latest addition is the EA DEMOPACK-WiFiBT evaluation board with a 2.8” EA uniTFTs028-ATC display. The DEMOPACK includes radio micro controller ESP32 and is used to connect the display by WiFi or Bluetooth to for example a weather station or Bluetooth keyboard. The ESP32 uses the Arduino IDE. 7.0” Embedded IPS TFT Display with CTP and Android OS. One of Craft Data’s latest additions to their extensive display range is their 7.0” 1280(RGB) x 800 resolution embedded TFT solution DMG12800T070-33WTC from their partner DWIN Technology. The IPS module includes an integrated capacitive touch and boasts an impressive optical performance, with ultrawide viewing angles (85°/85°/85°/85°), 16.7M colours and a 300nit brightness. At its heart is the Quad Core, 1.8GHz ARM Cortex-A17 processor, an Android 8.1 OS and 8GB of FLASH and 2GB of RAM with further memory available via an SD Card slot. Connection to peripherals can be made via RS232, USB, RS485 and Ethernet ports, plus the module also features a MIPI camera interface, WIFI antenna connection, a speaker/microphone interface plus a 3.5mm headphone socket. The module has a wide input voltage of between 7V ~ 36VDC, a wide operating temperature range of -20°C~70°C and has outline dimensions of 186.9(H) x 112.1(V) x 23.5(D)mm.

OKW’s SMART-BOX IP-Rated Plastic Enclosures Now In Eight Sizes OKW’s SMART-BOX IP-rated enclosures for industrial electronics are now available in eight sizes and with a wide range of customisation options. Applications include HVAC, control systems, safety technology, IoT/IIoT, Smart Factory and Industry 4.0. These modern IP 65/ IP 66 sealed enclosures can be installed ‘lid closed’ – protecting the electronics and the gasket. Hinged flush-fitting trims conceal all the mounting screws. The lid is recessed for a membrane keypad or product label. Two plastic lid-retaining straps safeguard the opened lid during installation and maintenance. Internal fastening pillars for PCBs and DIN rails are included. SMART-BOX is moulded from ASA+PC- FR (UL 94 V-0) for added UV stability. Sizes range from 120 x 90 x 50 mm to 280 x 170 x 60 mm. SMART-BOX can be specified fully customised.
