My name is Hugo Bishop, and I am the director for Northern Europe at Incode Technologies. I was fortunate to be one of the founding team members in the EMEA region, where my role focuses on enhancing our presence, amplifying our brand, expanding our customer base, and developing talented teams in the region.
Incode’s identity solutions are used in a variety of sectors, why did you add iGaming to the list?
Incode’s identity solutions are versatile, excelling within industries like finance, mobility, social media, and hospitality to optimise areas covering regulatory compliance, security enhancement, and user experience improvement. Diversifying into iGaming was a logical move, as our omni-channel platform that features over 50 identity modules, is ideally suited to the industry’s strict requirements. This allows us to implement customised onboarding and authentication flows, allowing clients to meet regulations, mitigate fraud, and increase conversions, positioning the business perfectly for the iGaming sector.
Tell us about your services. How have you designed your solutions to suit the iGaming sector?
Our platform is designed to be fully automated, delivering speed, accuracy, and an unparalleled user experience without compromising scalability ambitions. Intuitive technology addresses and solves the recurring problems that the iGaming sector faces with some other legacy providers. We also provide a special biometric module that blocks fraudulent account activities and bonus abuse, ensuring end-to-end customer lifecycle journeys with enhanced biometric authentication to protect users and their resources.
Who are your current industry partners? Currently, we have a number of key iGaming partners, and we’re proud to highlight our recent collaborations with industry leaders MaxBet and Aristotle. MaxBet, a prominent gambling operator in eastern Europe, has integrated Incode’s AI-powered onboarding technology into their multi-platform offerings, enhancing user trust,

security, and operational efficiency. Similarly, our partnership with Aristotle, a leader in identity, KYC, and anti-fraud services, has revolutionised identity and age verification in the gambling sector. Aristotle has incorporated Incode’s state- of-the-art technology into their Integrity AutoDoc solution. This collaboration combines Aristotle’s Electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) service with Incode’s top-tier document and biometric verification technologies, offering unparalleled speed, accuracy, and ease-of-use in the industry. While the specifics of our collaborations with other gaming customers remain confidential, our partnerships with MaxBet and Aristotle exemplify our expansive global network and integration capabilities.
How can Incode’s identity solutions contribute to wider responsible gambling commitments? How Incode’s services can be used to detect problem gambling traits. Our superior authentication module plays an influential role in ensuring responsible gambling practices. The module protects gamblers by analysing unusual player betting patterns and excessive bets by enforcing additional authentication layers without impacting the user experience. We’re also pioneering the integration of affordability check capabilities, to deliver comprehensive solutions for our clients in terms of player sustainability, covering every aspect from onboarding to fraud and authentication management.
How can businesses use Incode’s services to comply with AML regulations? Incode utilises a comprehensive AML module within the platform, ensuring clients’ operations align seamlessly with current national and international AML checks, regulations, and laws. This includes following foreign assets control, sanctions regimes, Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), watchlists, and others. The embedded AI pattern detection further strengthens security by identifying suspicious actions and accounts, helping consolidate our commitment to customer protection.
The process of identity verification can often deter players, how has Incode developed its services to boost retention? Understanding the potential friction that identity verification can cause, we have optimised the user experience by implementing technology that captures the required information in line with the onboarding process, minimising manual input and streamlining onboarding. Furthermore, the flexibility of our intuitive platform lets our customers maintain strict compliance with minimal steps, effectively removing inconveniences.
