As the industry gears up for another busy summer, there’s a real sense of anticipation building ahead of iGB Live in London early next month. The event has long been one of the key dates in the iGaming calendar, bringing together developers, operators, affi liates and suppliers from across the sector. Last year’s move to its new home in one of the world’s most connected business hubs certainly paid off.
In this issue, we take a look at what visitors can expect from the show, including an interview with the Stuart Hunter, Managing Director of World Gaming, formerly Clarion Gaming. The conversation explores the thinking behind the evolution of the business, the opportunities presented by the move to London, and what attendees can expect from an event that continues to grow in both scale and infl uence.
Away from the exhibition fl oor, our feature coverage refl ects some of the most important trends shaping the industry today. Crash games continue to attract players around the world and spark debate among operators and regulators alike. We examine the genre’s ongoing rise, the innovations driving engagement and the opportunities it presents for brands looking to diversify their content offering.
Regulation, meanwhile, remains fi rmly at the top of every stakeholder’s agenda. With legislative developments continuing across multiple jurisdictions, staying informed has never been more important. Our latest regulatory coverage provides insight into some of the key changes and challenges facing businesses operating in an increasingly complex environment.
Whether you’re preparing for iGB Live, exploring new product opportunities, or navigating the latest compliance requirements, we hope this issue provides useful insight and plenty of food for thought. As always, thank you for reading Gaming International Online, and I look forward to catching up with many of you in London next month.
