Hi-Line support NHS in medical gas dryer production


Hi-line Industries, the UK’s leading designer, manufacturer and installer of air/gas dryers and nitrogen generators, is lending its support to the NHS in combating the current COVID-19 pandemic. The company’s fabrication department have been working round the clock to build and despatch medical gas dryers for a number of new NHS Nightingale and existing hospitals, supplying equipment against stringent deadlines. The Birmingham Nightingale Hospital, which is located at the National Exhibition Centre, is

Making space for a return to work


As a nation we are creaking back into action and beginning the return to work. However it seems that our workplaces can’t adapt easily to the ‘new normal’ overnight where we take care to distance ourselves properly and compliantly. We are used to making the most of our premises, using every spare inch, so it’s inevitable that we’re all going to need more space. Wincanton’s “first class” loading solution, delivered by Thorworld Industries


UK logistics giant Wincanton has become among the latest organisations to benefit from the delivery of a Thorworld Industries Lightweight Platform for the loading and unloading of vehicles. The customer focused warehousing and transport firm which


manages more than 200 sites across the country, recently structured a facility relocation – transferring one of its operations to a new, ground level warehouse. Site preparation for the new premises had to meet with Wincanton’s exacting operating


standards and be complete within a tight logistical timescale of just six weeks. To help keep to the schedule and deliver effective loading and unloading practice – whilst maintaining the safety and protection of both employees and goods - Wincanton’s warehouse team, headed by General Manager, Ian Broomhead, had to source a suitable, easily manoeuvrable solution at speed:
