Simon Acres to introduce new KBB services team at KBB Birmingham
Leading KBB and merchant services provider Simon Acres Group (SAGL) will introduce its new KBB support services field sales team at the 2022 KBB exhibition (6-9 March NEC Birmingham – Stand No. N60). The sales team, who will be able to visit retailers, has been brought together to support Simon Acres Director of Services Jordan Burns and communicate the benefits of this unique comprehensive package.
The industry specific suite of services is designed to help retailers manage their businesses more effectively, close additional sales and increase order values.
Introducing Victory Colours
Eco paint specialists Victory Colours are the latest interiors brand to join the jwc family. The family-run business was born out of a desire to rid the world of hidden ‘nasties’ in every day products. With a background in the manufacturing and decorating industries, paint was the natural go-to in which to start their eco campaign. Adopting a holistic model in every step of the manufacturing process, Victory Colours’ paints are made from the best
raw
ingredients and are free from VOCs and toxins. Paint is also manufactured to order so not only is it fresh but it isn’t stored in warehouses. What’s more, all
packaging is made from recycled materials or sustainable products such as bamboo. There are currently 80 colours
on offer and over the coming months we’ll be introducing you to new capsule collections and limited edition colours. In last month’s issue we mistakenly published the wrong image with this Victory Colours story. We have reprinted the story here with the correct picture. We apologise for any problems this error may have caused.
The services offered extend beyond the core offerings from SAGL of recruitment, training, and media to include, a jobs board, qualified sales enquiries, finance, deposit protection, design support, HR, flexible payment solutions and wellness health checks Training will also be a key part of this year’s KBB offering. Recognised industry experts Ray Isted, Renée Mascari and Suzanne Skeete will be represented on the stand by the sales team to showcase their new on-line training courses. These cover an Introduction to Showroom Appliances Sales, Principles of Kitchen Design and Wellness in the KBB Workplace.

The Simon Acres Group will
also be reinforcing its commitment to the promotion of ‘wellness in the workplace’ with a donation of £5,000, to be main sponsor of TT Training Academy’s Courageous Kids Awards 2022. The funds for the donation will come from a commitment to not use plastic marketing merchandise for the duration of KBB Birmingham.

Design experts reveal their predictions for 2022 bathroom trends
Bathroom experts at Sanctuary Bathrooms have teamed up with other industry professionals to share their trend predictions for 2022. In the past 18 months, the pandemic has brought a lot of unexpected stress into our lives so it comes as no surprise that we want to use our bathroom as a space to focus on our wellbeing and escape our everyday life. As more people want to maximise their bathroom space, it looks like many will prioritise the practicality of wet rooms and showers over baths. One of the predicted trends is the use of dark and
light colours to create a modern environment inspired by the popular Japandi trend, a blend of Japanese and Scandinavian interior design styles.

Another trend that experts are predicting is the use of materials and colours reflecting the outdoors to help you wind down and relax. Experts are predicting that tiles with simple yet elegant patterns will make a comeback and help refresh the look of our bathroom interiors. Although the pandemic was a great opportunity for many to overhaul our interiors, it is predicted that a new interest for integrating existing pieces of furniture with new ones will arise. This is also intertwined with the growing trend of sustainable alternatives, like upcycling, to create a refreshed look in our homes. For more information on 2022 trends, visit Sanctuary
