Lakes adds to Island spacess


AKW extends shower wall panelling range AKW, has extended its Marlbrook wall panel range, adding colour options to now include Black Marble, cool Quartz and warm Savannah. All of the panels come in 2440mm x 1220mm wallboards and, with such a large surface area, they can be trimmed to suit any bathroom configuration. Marlbrook wall panels are finished on both the front and back, allowing either side to be used as the face – a particularly useful feature if any damage occurs during installation. Also, the wall panels can be fitted directly over existing tiles if required, making installation even quicker and easier. The wall panels have been designed for internal use, in areas that are exposed to water. So, for bathrooms, wet rooms, shower enclosures and commercial spaces that require hygienic, easy clean wall cladding, this solution is hard-wearing, low maintenance and cost-effective. The panels are coated with high-pressure laminate to give a water and scuff resistant finish that is guaranteed for 15 years. Domus ventilation adds further MEV unit to CMX range Domus Ventilation has expanded its CMX range of Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) units with the launch of the CMX- MULTI, an extremely compact and highly energy-efficient centralised MEV for use in apartments and small to medium sized houses. The CMX-MULTI has been engineered to extract indoor pollution and draw moisture-laden air out of wet zones, such as kitchens and bathrooms, depositing it outside for greatly improved indoor air quality and environmental comfort. Where the CMX-MULTI differs from other MEVs is its small size, ease of installation and energy efficiency. There is also a second unit, the CMX-MULTI-H which hosts an integral humidistat that identifies changes in humidity and automatically adjusts the air flow of the unit accordingly. At just 125mm in depth, the CMX- MULTI is small and lightweight enough to fit into a standard newbuild cupboard, as well as lofts and ceiling voids. Lakes has added two ‘showroom exclusive’ showering spaces - Antigua and Aruba - to its premium Island Collection. The new products are designed to help stockist customers maximise sales and create wow in their displays. The Antigua is an elegant 2-metre high slider with high specification design, while the Aruba has all the features of the Antigua plus a side panel. The Antigua Slider has an easy- glide door that closes at the touch of a finger; concealed wheels for easy cleaning; a low threshold for easy and safe access, and a solid cast handle with smooth, rounded edges for supreme elegance. There’s an ultra slim gap between the fixed panel and sliding door, and a discreet Quick Release mechanism. Graham launches new Alterna Collections Graham Plumbers’ Merchant has launched new-look Alterna collections for bathroom taps, kitchen taps, showers and wastes.


The new Alterna Shower collection has a total of seven designs to choose from including the two new options in the Alterna Tagliamento range. Both thermostatic showers feature modern styling, with a cuboid mixer bar design and square shower heads. The twin outlet version includes a single function handset and rainfall shower head to create a truly luxurious shower experience. In the Bathroom Tap collection there are four new ranges. The angular Brembo and crisply styled Liri will fit with any modern bathroom design, while the Ponza taps are ideal for a smoother aesthetic. For traditionally styled bathrooms there is the new Nure range.


The collection also includes both individual and mixer taps for baths and basins as well as bath fillers and bath shower mixers to provide options to suit any bathroom.
