8. Brett Martin cascades grade for school Brett Martin’s Cascade Cast Iron Style Rainwater System has been used for a replacement rainwater system at the 19th century Wightwick Hall School building near Wolverhampton. The specification of the Cascade rainwater system comprised 112mm Roundstyle Gutters and 68mm Round Downpipes with Tudor Rose Hoppers, all in Classic Black. This was complemented by the Cascade 110mm Push- Fit Soil System to provide an architecturally sympathetic look. Significantly lighter than cast iron rainwater systems, Cascade is much quicker, easier and safer to install at height, helping to offer the contractor and their client huge savings in terms of on-site installation costs. The system also features external fixing lugs designed to facilitate the use of power tools, further speeding up installation.

Sorrento adds elegance RAK-Sorrento from RAK Ceramics is a brassware collection in four finishes with a long body and spout combined with single lever control for a modern twist. As well as Polished Chrome, the brassware

comes in on-trend Brushed Gold, Brushed Nickel or Matt Black. The RAK-Sorrento basin mixers come in three sizes – standard, medium and tall – so the brassware can be used with any washbasin; a wall-mounted basin mixer is also included. For the bath, RAK-Sorrento offers deck-mounted, exposed and freestanding options. There is also a choice of thermostatic valves to complete the streamlined look.

ToughBuilt two-in-one Knife ToughBuilt has launched a new Scraper Utility Knife, which features advanced technology to allow users to quickly flip between a utility knife and a scraper with the flick of a thumb. 11. Premier Tech launch next generation of pump stations Premier Tech Water and Environment is pleased to announce the launch of its Rewatec range of compact and vertical pump stations. In addition to increased efficiency, the performance of the new compact and vertical pump stations has also been elevated, providing robust, easy to install and long-lasting solutions for total peace of mind. Designed for smaller residential developments, the pump stations come in 900mm diameters, suitable for properties of up to 9 people (PE). For larger residential developments or small commercial projects, the vertical range of pump stations are available in 1,200mm and 1,500mm diameters and are suitable for properties of up to 18 people (1,200mm) or 35 people (1,500mm). As part of the new range, a single pump is provided with every pump station as standard. Dual pump options are available for both compact and vertical pump stations.

Damp proof membrane specialists TREMCO’s flooring systems include damp proof membranes, smoothing compounds, and adhesives. Products include ES100 One Coat Universal DPM, ES200 Fast Curing Universal DPM and ES300 Surface DPM. For larger projects, there’s ES400 Bulk DPM, while ES500 Sheet Membrane and ES600 Moisture Vapour Suppressant complete the line-up. Two- part latex underlayments, in general purpose, high performance, and damp tolerant grades, are all available, as well as water mixed underlayments, which can be hand or pump applied for heavy duty applications. Repair compounds, comprising of a selection of patch repair and feather edge compounds for specialist applicators, are also available, as well as specialist floor screeds, which offer a fibre filled pumpable formulation for flexing subfloor or difficult substrates.
