3. Wienerberger’s clay pavers create inspiring courtyards at South Gardens Clay pavers from Wienerberger’s landscape collection were used to create beautiful communal courtyard spaces for Lendlease’s award-winning South Gardens housing development in Elephant & Castle, London. Dutch style clay pavers in red, buff and dark grey tones were expertly mixed in different variations throughout the courtyards to create meandering pathways that complement surrounding habitats and design features. Wienerberger’s Mix & Texture Generator online tool allows landscape designers to create their own custom clay paving scheme using up to five paver choices and a variety of laying patterns. www.wienerberger.co.uk/resources/ texturegenerator.

Despite their 78m height, coastal location, high winds and exposure to heavy rain, all of the roofs of Beckley Point in Plymouth are guaranteed for 20-years thanks to the specification and installation support service provided by BMI UK & Ireland – the largest manufacturer of flat and pitched roofing and waterproofing solutions in the UK and Europe. The key factor when defining the roof specification was that it had to be built with a highly durable product that would survive the extreme weather conditions, perform to specification and last for many many years. These requirements were met by a specification comprising of BMI Icopal Total Torch Vapour Control Layer, Thermazone Insulation and FireSmart® TorchSafeTM Mechanically Adhered www.bmigroup.com 01908 015760
