BORDER MERCHANT UPDATES INTEGRATION FOR 2022
Border Merchant Systems is making updates to its Prommt & Paymentsense integration options. Both will help to speed up and secure the payment process whilst eliminating the need for manual data entry and possible errors.
T
he two main system updates from software supplier Border Merchant Systems will be provided to all customers as part of their support contracts. The elements that go into these are based on keeping the system and clients compliant with current legislation, as well as being full of product feedback and requests from users.
Updates coming later this year include the introduction of ePOD, an optional electronic proof of delivery app. This is set to be a fantastic tool to support delivery scheduling, delivery routes and of course, the tracking and accurate
logging of proof of delivery information such as photos and customer signatures.
Border is also moving away from a Progress database to run the CounterAct system. With the FWD Project they are moving to an SQL database. This project is mainly about future development flexibility, but it will also give customers a certain amount of flexibility too. The company has also recently signed up a number of new trading website development projects for delivery in 2022. These are for the in-house development of fully integrated trading websites for customers. The sites run on the Magento 2 eCommerce platform and
seamlessly link on and offline trading and provide trade users with an online account portal.
There are also four new customers, currently emersed in various stages of the Border training programmes and readiness stages. One of the new customers hasn’t used a system in the past, which is particularly exciting for the team to help guide them through all the benefits and get them set up for success. Border also continue to invest in staff and internal training as well as a new support call logging system with an online portal that will help to improve efficiency. BMJ
