nterface Force Measurements, a leader in force measurement announces the launch of the ITA-1 (Click-R
Clack-R) analogue strain gauge amplifier. This new product is used to convert a sensor’s millivolt signal into an analogue signal for display or data acquisition. This simple, yet innovative product is connected to the sensor in line via a 5-pin, M12 connector. The ITA-1 can be connected to any force, strain, torque
or pressure sensor that supplies a millivolt output signal, either voltage or current. When supplied with an Interface load cell or torque transducer, the ITA-1 comes factory configured to the correct output however, set-up can be modified using the tare and scale cables. It is also TEDS enabled, so enabling easy configuration with TEDS- equipped load cells.

Silicon Designs Expands MEMS Capacitive Accelerometer T
he 100% veteran owned and U.S.-based Silicon Designs, Inc. (
www.silicondesigns.com), industry
experts in the design, development and manufacture of highly rugged industrial-grade MEMS capacitive accelerometer chips and modules, today announced the recent expansion of its offerings for automotive testing, to include six new high-performance and low-cost model series, as well as enhanced application suitability. Since 1983, the team at Silicon Designs has been
actively supporting the world’s automotive OEMs; Tier 1, 2 and 3 suppliers, professional motorsport teams, and automotive test laboratories via its highly accurate, cost- effective, rugged MEMS capacitive accelerometer modules and LCC/JCC chips, in ranges from ± 2 g to ± 400 g, for zero-to-medium frequency instrumentation requirements. Module designs combine either a single axis model or three orthogonally block-mounted models within an epoxy seam-sealed anodized aluminum housing.
The use of proprietary manufacturing technologies
allows for onboard voltage regulation and an internal voltage reference, making the units relatively insensitive to temperature and voltage changes, while eliminating the need for external power amplification and regulation. Carefully regulated manufacturing processes ensure that each sensor is made to be virtually identical, allowing users to swap out modules with little or no modifications.
All products are designed, manufactured and tested in
the USA at the company’s corporate headquarters outside of Seattle, Washington, further supported by a well- established global sales network.

requency control specialist, Euroquartz has announced availability of three new ranges of ultra-miniature
quartz crystals from Statek that are designed for use in medical-implantable wireless RF transceiver applications using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or Medical Implant Communications Service (MICS) specifications. The CX16, CX18 and CX20 series are ultra-miniature
devices operating in the 16MHz and above frequency range requested by BLE transceiver ICs. In medical applications, where miniaturisation is paramount Statek’s, low profile CX16 AT quartz crystal is the ideal choice, measuring 2.0 x 1.2mm and just 0.43mm high. Offering frequencies from 24 to 50MHz, the CX16’s resonator is manufactured using state-of-the-art photolithographic and chemical milling processes then sealed in a ceramic package for high stability and low ageing. CX16 crystals are available with tight calibration tolerances and high stability over temperature plus fast start-up times.
