The EHT next generation hybrid induction terminal combines, cooling, heating, fresh air, ventilation-only and air distribution in one compact device for rooms with a ceiling height of up to four metres. The range can meet the needs of a diversity of buildings varying in size, construction, and usage. Combat Heating Solutions, specialist in energy efficient warm air heating and radiant systems, has launched its range of Elite Pro Unit Heaters, Models EPU 30-115kW.
The new Elite Pro range of warm air unit heaters now offer even greater energy efficiency combined with quiet operation. The new range is easy to install, maintain and operate with a wide range of options. Suitable for either room sealed or open flued installation, the heaters also have lockout indicator lights that help to make troubleshooting easier. The range benefits from fully modulating burners for greater efficiency and stainless heat exchangers as standard for long life. In addition, the heaters can be suspended or shelf mounted, with several air handling options, such as axial, centrifugal fan or ducted applications. All of the warm air heaters are 100% manufactured in the UK. Also with a return to Combat’s traditional red colour and its environmental credentials, red is proving to be the new ‘green’.

Gilberts’ grilles and diffusers are providing effective, compliant ventilation throughout four new schools that form part of Edinburgh City Council’s multi-million Learning Estate investment Programme. Careful design of the ventilation air paths and selection of the components ensures the indoor air quality throughout the schools is maintained whilst minimising energy with heating provided by air source heat pumps. Each classroom features a combination of GSFB perforated circular swirl diffusers and PG-R perforated return grilles to supply and return the air to the HEVAC system. This combination of grilles and diffusers, with perforated faces, optimises air circulation without draughts whilst achieving enhanced airflow efficiency. In the smaller cellular spaces air is transferred through the corridors via strategically-positioned NV2 transfer grilles above doors – heavy duty where required. GE eggcrate grilles, with their 90% free ventilation area, optimise velocity of extraction with low noise levels through the ceiling in halls.

Global boiler manufacturer, Navien, has further expanded its range of Combi Crossover boilers – adding a compact new option.
Navien recently launched an NCB ON range of boilers that do not need a cylinder to consistently deliver hot water to larger homes. The new NCB500- 1S+/32K brings the same benefits – but at 32kW is specifically designed for smaller properties. For installers, the cylinder-free design means easier installation and space-saving benefits, particularly for those where space is already at a premium.
Navien’s design ensures that this compact model delivers a flow rate of 13.1L/PM - noticeably outperforming alternative boilers at a similar price point which provide around 10L/PM. This means that the NCB500-1S+/32K can comfortably supply one shower and one tap simultaneously, as described by the 1S+ in its name.

Seeley International has appointed Fabio Marioni as the sales manager for United Kingdom and Ireland. Mr Marioni will implement crucial aspects of the company’s growth strategy, including co-ordinating contractors’ network and promoting Seeley International’s premium quality evaporative cooling technologies.
He comes to Seeley International with significant experience having held positions at Epta Refrigeration, Galileo TP and Ziehl-Abegg. General manager sales EMENA Sam Peli said the addition of Mr Marioni to the team would drive sales growth and reinforce Seeley International rep-utation as an industry leader.
