AQUA
Temperature control specialist, Aqua, has launched a new range of completely packaged chillers. The Aqua Pro units have been specifically designed for process applications and display an impressive array of standard features.
The chillers cover cooling capacities from 1kW to MW+, working with process fluid temperatures from -25°C to +20°C. As well as a process specific design, incorporating an innovative coaxial evaporator, the Aqua Pro demonstrates a real commitment to reducing energy costs and carbon impact.
“The Aqua Pro range is here to make a difference to the industry,” explains Aqua Sales Director, Owen Hymers. “We wanted to design a chiller that can stand up to the demands & challenges that the process market faces daily. Yet we also wanted to tackle, head on, the issues around energy consumption and the environment that are impacting us all.” Aqua offers next day, UK wide delivery and units come with a three-year parts & labour warranty.

FERNOX
Water treatment manufacturer Fernox is calling on heating and plumbing professionals to ensure that they are implementing the best practice guidance outlined in BS 7593:2019 – before it becomes mandatory. The code of practice is due to be introduced into Part L of the Building Regulations in June 2022.
Approved Document L of the Building Regulations is being updated to include additional measures that will help to keep central heating systems working at optimum efficiency. The changes include ensuring an in-line filter is installed, checking inhibitor levels on site annually and conducting laboratory analysis of the system water, or re-dosing, every five years.
Richard Crisp, head of chemistry at Fernox said: “The Fernox range of water treatment products has been designed to offer engineers an effective, easy to use solution for every task. With the Fernox range, engineers are equipped to adhere to the latest regulations and protect and maintain central heating systems long-term.”

BOSCH
Bosch Commercial & Industrial has launched its latest commercial boiler series, the Condens 7000 WP.
Installers can expect to save up to 60% on average installation times when fitting the Condens 7000 WP compared to the GB162 V2, freeing up time to complete other installs or wider administrative work. This is thanks to a new frame kit design, simple install steps with minimal tools required and an easily accessible PCB. Outputs of 50kW, 65kW, 85kW and 100kW are available to order now, with higher outputs of 125kW and 145kW launching later in the month. The range are available as either a single boiler or a cascade pack, which suits a wide variety of system outputs and hydraulic requirements.
The range has the ability to cascade up to 860kW and so also offers the wider benefits of cascading. It is suitable for larger domestic properties as well as commercial, hybrid and communal solutions.

GILBERTS
Gilberts has designed and supplied a protective acoustic screen around an air source heat pump installation for Scott House in Huntingdon to ensure the pump works at optimum efficiency without disturbing the office occupants or passers-by. The building is benefitting from Cambridgeshire County Council’s Renewable Energy Retrofit Scheme. The screening which effectively creates a box around the pump was installed on behalf of project contractor P Woods Construction. The ALS30 single bank screen louvres provide fresh air to prevent over-heating, delivering 34% actual (50% visual) free ventilation area through the screen to the pump behind. The acoustic treatment modulates heat pump operational noise from up to 78dBA to a weighted SRI of 18 dBA (validated by performance tests at Salford University). A double door also constructed from the louvre screening facilitates maintenance works. Gilberts powder- coated every louvre section in traffic grey to further mitigate the screen’s environmental impact.

COMBAT
Combat Heating Solutions’ new Complete double linear radiant heaters have all the benefits of the linear tube but with only one flue point for the two linear heaters which are connected via the discharge fan. The two heaters comprising the double linear format are designed to be opposing each other producing a long strip of radiant heating coverage. Complete radiant heaters can provide even heat distribution from a vacuum design with uniform tube temperatures. CE design certified; the Complete burner box design includes a protective enclosure allowing minimal heat exposure to valuable electrical controls. Available in natural gas or propane gas, the burner is equipped with a fully automatic, three-try 100% shut off, direct spark ignition module. New features include deep dish, a wide parabolic design reflector with 12 surfaces that reflect 100% of the infrared energy that it receives from the heat exchanger tube directly to the floor, resulting in an outstanding radiant heat efficiency factor.

SANHA
Sanha offers three reliable press systems for transport of fuels or oils: NiroSan Industry, NiroTherm Industry and Sanha-Therm Industry. For NiroSan Industry, Sanha uses high-quality stainless steel of the material 1.4404. NiroTherm Industry made of material 1.4301 is especially suitable for closed systems. Traditionally, carbon steel is used here due to its lower material cost. However, stainless steel has an advantage when it comes to damp areas or any risk of external moisture exposure. It can also be the more cost-effective solution. Carbon steel also offers an attractive and time-tested method for almost all closed systems. Examples of these are solar, heating or cooling. The piping system Sanha-Therm Industry, comes with sealing rings made of FKM. Depending on the medium, the operating temperature ranges from -20 °C to +160 °C. As an alternative to the press systems, pipelines can also be soldered if required..
