prices rise further the return on investment only accelerates. Thanks to the modular Easy Access concept, the on-site transportation and installation was seamless — even to a tight plant room with limited access.

Moving in the right direction

While the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), revised in April 2024, no longer applies directly to the UK following Brexit, it continues to shape the broader conversation on building energy performance across Europe. In the UK, many of the core principles of earlier

EPBD versions were retained in national legislation prior to EU withdrawal — and these have since evolved through domestic policy. Most notably, the government introduced Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES), which prohibit the leasing of commercial properties with an EPC rating below E in England and Wales. Proposals are also in place to raise this minimum to a B rating by 2030. These requirements are reinforced by broader commitments under the UK’s Net Zero Strategy and

IV Produkt is preparing for this wave of transformation. That’s why we are expanding our production facilities by 5,000 square metres, pushing our capacity beyond SEK 3 billion. We’re seeing sustained demand, not just from new builds, but from energy renovations in existing properties — particularly in the UK, Scandinavia, Germany and the Benelux regions.
