ADVECO

Adveco, has introduced the FUSION FPH-S range of low carbon, all- electric, packaged hybrid hot water systems.

FUSION harnesses Adveco’s FPi32 Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), a high-pressure ATSH calorifier with electric immersion, controls, and metering to provide a reliable, high-temperature, sustainable and cost- effective system for new commercial build and refurbishment projects. FUSION is available in 16 pre-specified variants with 6 or 10 kW preheat and 9 or 12 kW electric top-up, with capacities ranging from 200 to 500 litres all rated at 10 BAR for high-pressure applications. Able to meet a range of continuous capacity hot water demands from 257-377 litres/hour makes FUSION highly adaptable for a wide range of commercial buildings. “For organisations with small to medium basin and sink led hot water hot water demands and a desire to embrace a more sustainable business model, the FUSION FPH-S range provides a single, easy to accommodate, highly effective response,” says Bill Sinclair, technical director, Adveco. www.adveco.co

CONDAIR

Condair is launching a new eight-hour rapid response service as an optional feature to its humidifier planned preventative maintenance contracts.

Tony Tullett, service director at Condair, commented: “It is great that we are able to add this rapid response service to our product offering. It enables us to provide additional reassurance to our clients who operate sites like data centres or pharmaceutical production facilities, and who cannot be without humidity control for extended periods. All of our PPM customers have access to our expert telephone support line, but with this additional feature activated, customers also get 24/7 telephone support and rapid response call-out options. Depending on the urgency of the issue, customers can choose to receive an engineer on site within 8, 24 or 48 hours.”

Condair has 18 service engineers strategically located across the UK and Ireland. Alongside system design and sales, the company offers installation, commissioning, service and spares supply. www.condair.co.uk

GILBERTS

Providing a pioneering working environment for a Regius professor and his team has been assured at University of Liverpool through state of the art ventilation.

Gilberts’ Series PGL laminar flow panels - each 1200 x 600 - were selected to strategically deliver the local fresh air into the workspace. The Gilberts diffusers had to deliver adequate air for the lab staff without interfering with airflow around the 22no fume cupboards, of which three were interconnected creating a single unit 6m long. A & B Engineering Associate Director Kevin Sykes explained: “The building services for the new lab were complex to mechanically design and install. We had to balance the extract requirements for specialist gases, the bespoke fume cupboards and the human occupants whilst working within the parameters and limitations of an existing structure. We know from our long-standing relationship with Gilberts that we would receive the excellent partnering and service required for such a high-specification and high profile project.” Gilbertsblackpool.com

PANASONIC

Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions has updated its AC Service Cloud to include a system health check function, available now in selected Panasonic Commercial AC series.

The AC Service Cloud suits HVAC professionals requiring remote access to a Panasonic air conditioning system for maintenance and multi- site monitoring, and now includes more additional service benefits for professionals. The system health check function acts as a ‘self-diagnosis’ tool, whereby the AC Service Cloud automatically detects potential malfunction, often before the fault even occurs, which can help speed up the overall maintenance process and help prevent costly breakdowns and callouts, which in the long run will reduce costs.

The update continuously monitors systems in intervals of 15 minutes to ensure any malfunctions are swiftly noticed. Any abnormal data is detected and reported. All data can be simply found on the AC Service Cloud’s home screen, and a history of data can be recorded for up to two weeks. www.aircon.panasonic.eu

S&P UK

S&P UK has expanded its range of certified low-noise products after launching its new Silent Dual extraction fan for residential and commercial settings.

Silent Dual is thought to be the first in the UK to have two built-in sensors (PIR motion and humidity) and demand-controlled ventilation. Along with an intelligent control algorithm, this allows the fan to automatically adjust its performance to ambient conditions and ventilation requirements that achieve the lowest energy consumption and noise levels. The wall or ceiling mounted extraction fan has two modes (continuous or intermittent) and is designed for simple installation in bathrooms, utility rooms, kitchens and other indoor areas. It is also designed to help upgrade existing older fans because of its two-wire installation that removes the need for a third switched live wire – saving time and cost. Lee Page, sales director at S&P UK, said: “We have double reason to celebrate with our Silent Dual being recognised with the Quiet Mark certification. bit.ly/SilentDualQuietMark
