The much anticipated HVR Awards 2023 were held at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London on Thursday, October 5 with the winners revealed in front of a distinguished gathering of industry professionals.


Hosting this year’s event was sassy TV and radio presenter Lindsey Chapman, best known for hosting Spring Watch Unsprung on BBC Two, and she was ably assisted by celebrated radio personality Steve Madden.


Hundreds of HVAC industry professionals attended the bumper event which this year rewarded more companies and individuals in a beefed up list of categories and a record number of finalists.

After a champagne reception, three- course meal, and entertainment provided by Lindsey, the awards ceremony was ready to begin. Along with all the regular awards for innovative solutions, this year the HVR Awards introduced a few new categories in line with industry trends and developments.


These included two heat pump awards for domestic and commercial; the Indoor Air Quality Initiative; and three new individual/team awards for the HVAC Woman of the Year, Rising Star and Training Provider of the Year.


The Woman of the Year, won by Leanne Gill of Finn Geotherm and Rising Star, won by Nicole Pollock of Stelrad Radiators were highly contested and guests stood to applaud as the winners were announced.


HVR editor Heather Ramsden said: “There are so many worthy achievements in the HVAC industry and we want to make sure they do not go unnoticed.


“It’s clear this industry regularly pulls out all the stops in the products and services it offers and we are very pleased to be able to reward so many companies and individuals for their dedication.”
