• ‘Kensa’ is taken from the Cornish word for ‘first’. Pioneering the development and adoption of GSHPs in the UK, Kensa has lived up to its name in many ways: - Kensa was the first to create a GSHP small and quiet enough to be installed into flats and apartments; the Kensa Shoebox range

Anything else:

- Kensa was first to develop the largest single phase GSHP available, perfect for large UK properties, the 24kW Twin.

• Kensa now has the largest number of ENA ‘Connect & Notify’ approved GSHP products in the UK enabling simpler, quicker and lower cost GSHP installations.

footprint and save money on heating bills. Cue Kensa’s ground source heat pumps (GSHPs).

Experienced renewables installer, Evergreen, helped the homeowner decide on ground source heating. They knew it would not only cut the running costs for the home, but drastically reduce carbon emissions versus oil.

With the help of Kensa, Evergreen came up with a system design fit for Green Gables. Two 15kW Kensa Evo GSHPs were installed – one into each dwelling – to deliver the entire heating and hot water demand. Incredibly quiet and extremely efficient, the two Evos were the perfect match for a Shared Ground Loop Array – an innovative system that transfers ambient- temperature heat from the ground to each individual heat pump, to then be upgraded into a higher temperature.

HEAT PUMP GUIDE

It doesn’t stop there. A ground-mounted solar

PV system utilises solar energy and converts it into electricity to power the heat pumps. This is a clever way to cut costs and carbon even further for the family.
