Fagan and Molle join Conex Bänninger to drive sales growth

Aggreko appoints new Head of Temperature Control

ggreko has appointed Chris Smith as Head of Temperature Control for the UK and Ireland, to support industrial HVAC contractors, engineers and facilities management providers operating in temperature-sensitive sectors. Smith brings more than two decades of experience with the company across European markets and will lead eff orts to deliver reliable cooling, heating and dehumidifi cation solutions during planned maintenance, system upgrades, extreme weather events and emergency outages. The appointment comes as weather-related temperature fl uctuations continue to put pressure on fi xed HVAC systems across the UK and Ireland, intensifying demand for temporary and supplementary solutions that maintain continuity when long-term infrastructure is updated or repaired. Aermec appoints business development lead

ermec UK has appointed John Pittendrigh as Business Development Manager for Data Centres and District Energy.


With more than 35 years of experience in the HVAC


industry, Pittendrigh brings a strong background in modular cooling systems, packaged plant solutions, and energy-effi cient infrastructure. His most recent focus has been on heat export and low-carbon system design, particularly for large-scale applications such as energy centres and chiller plant rooms. In his new role, Pittendrigh will focus on identifying growth opportunities,


developing client relationships and advising on the specifi cation of sustainable, cost-eff ective solutions for temperature control in data centres and distributed energy networks. The appointment comes as data centres face mounting pressures linked


to power demand, AI-driven hardware evolution and increasing sustainability targets. Aermec has stated that it is prioritising innovation to meet these sector-specifi c demands while helping clients reduce environmental impacts.
