Print finishing equipment manufacturer, AB Graphic International (ABG), has recently opened a new manufacturing facility in Girona, Spain. Producing ABG branded products, the €2m investment will be used by Enprom Solutions, part of the ABG group, to manufacture nonstop winding machines, converting lines, sleeve machines and automated customised products. The Spanish converting machinery specialist was jointly acquired by ABG and Kocher+Beck in July 2019.

This in-store change will result in the removal of 275 tonnes of conventional single use plastic. The new compostable bags are designed to be re-used as caddy liners for domestic food waste collections and are also suitable for home-composting, providing them with a longer life-cycle.
