ABG champions next generation of engineers

through apprenticeship programme Since the launch of its offi cial apprenticeship scheme in 2018, leading print fi nishing equipment manufacturer, A B Graphic International (ABG), has remained fi rmly committed to investing in young engineering talent. The programme has already welcomed more than 32 apprentices and with numbers increasing year on year, the company continues to invest in the next generation of skilled professionals. Ben Gregory, ABG’s service manager, said: “I’m a strong advocate for the scheme, having joined the company as an apprentice,” Mr Gregory said. “I started my apprenticeship when I was 18, which allowed me to get a qualifi cation while earning money

and gave me valuable life skills you don’t normally get if you go straight into further education – that foundation helped me grow into my role and 19 years later, I’m proud to say I’m now service manager.”
