Labelling Solutions Finishing with an Eclipse
Eclipse label finishing equipment, part of the YES Group which was founded in 1995, develop and manufacture its range of label finishing equipment from Nottinghamshire.
hanks to its extensive experience and range of quality products, Eclipse can target the needs of small companies engaged in offline label finishing through to larger scale production customers with digital printing presses. This positioning proves to be successful as the company now boasts sales in excess of a thousand units in operation worldwide today.
T
But this is only the beginning as the company is aggressively expanding its wings worldwide by developing a distributor network globally. The successful blend of quality design and build you can rely on, together with an affordable price is becoming increasingly popular with end-users – especially with the current squeeze on business finances, which is resulting in companies who are looking for bringing their label production in-house. Moreover, label producers have to be increasingly capable of supplying short runs and customised products to their customers
due to different export requirements, special promotions, events and more – so relying on an external subcontractor can prove to bring longer lead-times and be expensive. Eclipse label machines are ideally designed to avoid these unecessary issues.
Eclipse offers a range of label finishing equipment that is both flexible and cost effective. The company is focused on small to medium size customers that need and want narrow web roll to roll label capability, without a significant investment.
On the technical side, Eclipse finishers can cut 220 or 350 mm wide labels and are ideally suited for demanding customers that require quality, functionality and ease of use to laminate, cut, slit, remove excess material, rewind so that labels are ready to be applied on a product.
Eclipse solutions start at £13,500 for a 220mm wide finishing equipment, which ideal for an SME, to £32,500 for a 350 mm wide for industrial processes.
Many options are possible : lamination, dual cutting heads, barcode reading for a seamless design change over, etc.
Additionally, to complement its range even further, Eclipse has developed a fully synchronised solution to work with EPSON Colorworks printers, allowing Epson customers to have a fully automated label production facility in-house – that is, printing, laminating, cutting, slitting, removing excess and rewinding label rolls all in one process. The advantages of this solution in terms of flexibility, customisation and cost savings can open up more capacilty while increasing profitability.
Roy Burton, managing director of Eclipse adds: “Our goal since starting the company has remained constant and consistent – to bring innovative, cost-effective label finishers to the market backed by a company that is willing and capable to stand behind it.“
