NEW MBO K80
WHAT IT DOES: Combination folding machine for the 70 x 100cm size range.
TARGET MARKET/APPLICATIONS: K80 is suitable for high-precision, high- performance production of signatures, flyers and other similar products in medium industrial print run lengths. It runs at speeds of up to 230m/min (755fpm), and offers a comprehensive range of standard equipment and multiple automation options. The K80 is available in eight pre- configured versions.
WHAT IT DOES: Manual combination folder.
TARGET MARKET/APPLICATIONS: The K70 is a large format folding machine and is suitable for producing signatures, flyers and other similar products. As it is only available in a manual version, it is a good solution for medium-length print runs.
HEADLINE DEVELOPMENTS:
The machine is based on the technology successfully used for several years in the K760E. As a result, it is a highly reliable and tough workhorse with no gimmicks or gadgets. With a production speed of 210m/min, it is faster than its predecessor. In addition, the
K70 comes with the NEW M1 control system, including a touch screen, which makes it easy to set up. High-precision pneumatic crossfold and threefold knives allow for a faster throughput and keep wear to a minimum.
NEW MBO A500/A700 Delivery
WHAT IT DOES: The A500/A700 is suitable for the delivery of signatures behind folding machines in the performance range of up to 900 piles per hour, along with a maximum pile height of 160mm.
UPGRADE KAMA ProFold 74
WHAT IT DOES: All round folder-gluer.
TARGET MARKET/APPLICATIONS: The ProFold 74 folds and glues blanks into a multitude of print products automatically and cost-efficiently, in a short time and at a continuous high quality. Be it for presentation folders, CD pockets, ticket envelopes, cross folders or folded boxes with crash-lock base.
HEADLINE DEVELOPMENTS: KAMA is constantly developing the modular- design ProFold 74, thus a new zigzag fold and new sheet feeder with quick adjustment has been added to the ProFold. This new sheet feeder has been equipped with a quick adjustment for the draw-off belts. This reduces the set-up times considerably.
HEADLINE DEVELOPMENTS: As the A500/A700 functions entirely without marking in single sheet operation, it can also be used to finish sensitive, freshly printed products that have a tendency to smudge. Its mobile design means that the location at which the A500/A700 stacker delivery is operated can be quickly changed. Partial automation helps to achieve shorter set-up times and also reduces the risk of operating errors.
Rotary die-cutter BSR 550 basic
WHAT IT DOES: Compact off-line solution for the efficient production of small and medium runs. Short setup times, simple operation, economic and cost-efficient production.
TARGET MARKET/ APPLICATIONS: Suitable for die-cutting, kiss cutting, creasing, perforating and embossing of various products, such as packaging, labels, mailings, presentation folders — both from offset as well as from digital printing. Simple tool technology, short set-up times and
high precision register accuracy stand for cost- optimised production. The integrated breakout and deliver system for
the automatic separation of the inner cuts, which simultaneously deflects the section grids, is adjustable without tools and ensures a proper display of the products.
