Radnor Hills and VendEase fundraising for seriously ill children
Welsh drinks company Radnor Hills has partnered with VendEase to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). Donations are being made by both companies for every bottle
of Radnor Water and Radnor Splash purchased from VendEase’s vending machines in 400 Premier Inn hotels across the country. The initiative, which is expected to raise tens of thousands of pounds, will go towards building a world-leading new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), as part of GOSH Charity’s Build it. Beat it. Appeal. Chris Butler, marketing manager of Radnor Hills, said: “We’re
really proud to support GOSH Charity’s dedication to transforming the lives of seriously ill children and their families. “Working in partnership with VendEase, who are match-funding our donation for every bottle sold, we are hoping to raise tens of thousands of pounds for GOSH Charity’s appeal to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at GOSH, which will provide life- changing care and hope to children and their families across the UK. “It’s an easy and exciting way for our customers to support this world-leading hospital, every bottle counts and together we can make a real difference.” Dave Berman, co-founder of VendEase, a London based vending
operator, specialising in the provision of innovative, fully managed and self-managed vending solutions, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Radnor to support GOSH Charity and to be playing our part in helping the charity to carry on the important, challenging and life changing work that they do daily.”
Sarah Bissell, deputy director of relationship fundraising at GOSH
Charity, said: “We are enormously grateful to Radnor Hills and VendEase for their generosity in supporting GOSH Charity. Every bottle bought will take us one step closer towards helping to make the new Children’s Cancer Centre at GOSH a reality, giving seriously ill children with cancer the best chance and childhood possible.” GOSH has always depended on charitable support, and GOSH Charity exists to fund the hospital’s most urgent
needs. The hospital cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers and is at the forefront of developing new treatments. But these advancements outstripped the hospital’s current facilities and GOSH needs a new home to develop more breakthroughs and help more children beat cancer once and for all. Whitbread PLC, the parent company of Premier Inn, is a long- standing supporter of GOSH Charity, having raised over £27 million since 2012.
