New Venue for Vendex
Vendex Milton Keynes saw a host of exhibitors unveiling product developments and new technological innovations with organisers reporting the event as a resounding success. Scores of vending professionals were welcomed to the new venue – Marshall Arena, MK Dons Stadium, Milton Keynes – which was widely welcomed by exhibitors and visitors alike. More than 100 exhibitors signed up and visitors were able to see the latest products for the vending, unattended retail, HoReCa and OCS markets all in one day. Vendex director Phil Reynolds said many
exhibitors reported sales on the day to be “the highest ever known”. Simon Black, MD, SB Software - the Makers
of Vendmanager and Coffeemanager, said: “We were delighted with the latest Vendex. Our stand was busy from start to finish, with a steady flow of visitors especially interested in our latest offerings: the Nova Micromarket kiosk and the all-new Databridge telemetry unit. We even sold 20 of the Databridges on the day, with orders signed there and then! It feels like business is back to normal, with micromarkets and OCS especially booming.” Laura Barwell, Head of Sales at VMC commented: “Vendex has always been a firm fixture on our annual show calendar, and it was great to see so many people again, it really felt like things were finally back to normal again! The show was busy, making it the perfect opportunity to launch our new

partnership with Payter and showcase their payment terminal on the stand.” She continued: “Our partnership with
Payter means we can now also offer our customers a market leading payment terminal which is 4G ready. The Payter terminal is simple to fit, with competitive transaction rates and no set up fee with Elavon, all backed up with by our fantastic service and customer support. This is a great addition to our portfolio and we’re looking forward to sharing it with the vending community in Scotland in September.” Organisers revealed that over 50 per cent
of stand space was rebooked on the day for the next Vendex Midlands which will be held on March 22, 2023.
