VENDEX PREVIEW

Vendex Midlands returns in new venue

Vendex Midlands is back this year at an all-new venue – Marshall Arena, MK Dons Stadium, Milton Keynes on April 26 where a host of exhibitors will be unveiling all their product developments and the latest technological innovations.

O

rganisers say Vendex is continuing to grow each year attracting more exhibitor companies both

established and new. The visitor numbers have also increased to such an extent that the event has now been moved to a larger venue in Milton Keynes offering easy access, a larger exhibition room, wider aisles and plenty of free parking. More than 100 exhibitors have signed

up and visitors will be able to see the latest products for the vending, unattended retail, HoReCa and OCS markets in one day at Vendex. Innovation continues to drive the industry

and exhibitors are showing products aimed at enhancing their clients’ business including table top and free standing machines, hot beverages, snacks, cold drinks, confectionery, healthy eating, technology, finance and more. Show director Phil Reynolds says: “This

new venue has everything going for it. This will be the biggest Vendex yet with over 100 exhibitors and plenty to see for visitors including all the very latest in machinery, products, services, snacks, coffee, tea and confectionery.

Among the 100 exhibitors is SB Software,

which is promising to put on a real show on stand 115/116 to include the following: • Technology innovations, including live demonstrations hands-on: see the Nova Market Kiosk (for micromarkets) and the all- new SBS Databridge in action! • Experts on hand, ready to answer questions and illustrate opportunities • Explanations and case studies based on Experience from the Field, of ways to improve vending, OCS and micromarkets • Exceptional value throughout - even including a Vendex only special offer: your chance to save even more money. Meanwhile for Evoca, Vendex Midlands

will be all about office coffee connectivity. Featuring machines from the Necta and

Saeco ranges, including the all-new Maestro Touch and Orchestra Touch, the message Evoca wants delegates to take from the show is that two-way communications - those that link operators to their machines - is a vital tool in developing easier, more efficient ways to work; and with them, increased profitability for operators. Evoca’s latest office coffee machines are

equipped to communicate with consumers, too; enhancing both the experience of using the machine and the quality of the data that can be turned to the advantage of the operator. AmiClo is Evoca’s cloud solution for

sending content to a single new generation vending machine – or indeed the whole machine estate. With just a few clicks, remote settings are received by the machine in real time. Content can be managed through a web platform and can be sent to the vending machine directly

order their favourite drink without touching the screen: selections are made by using a smartphone app. “As visitors to Vendex will witness, based

on the machines we will have on our stand, the world of technology has well and truly arrived”, sales director Craig Jukes said. “Touchscreen technology in snack and coffee machines provides an intuitive interface for users, while offering significant operational advantages too.”
