ICEL Emergency Lighting Conferences returns for 2024 T
he Industry Committee for Emergency Lighting (ICEL) is set to host the highly anticipated ICEL Emergency Lighting Conference 2024 at Cavendish Conference Hall, London, on 12 of September. The gathering will bring together key stakeholders from across the emergency lighting
supply chain, providing a platform for industry collaboration and knowledge exchange. Delegates will have access to expert speakers who will address questions, responsibilities, any legislative changes and strategies to drive change in the future. Presentations delivered throughout the day will enhance knowledge and
provide attendees with the tools to form a better understanding of the latest sector advancements. Admission to the ICEL
Emergency Lighting Conference 2024 is free of charge for all attendees, thanks to the generous sponsorship of emergency lighting manufacturers. However,
due to the overwhelming interest and venue constraints, registering does not guarantee immediate attendance. A selection process will be implemented to accommodate as many guests as possible while ensuring a balanced mix of representation across all functions of Emergency Lighting.
Announcing the launch of Digital Construction North

he team behind Digital Construction Week (DCW) has announced the launch of Digital Construction North (DCN), an intimate one-day event that brings together AECO decision-makers from across the north of the UK. The free- to-attend expo will launch at Manchester Central on 13 November 2024. Five theatres will be located around the
show fl oor, running talks, informative panel discussions, interactive workshops and more. Attendees can hear from industry experts and get up to speed on the latest ideas shaping architecture and design, construction, engineering, and operation.
Event director Ollie Hughes explains: “We currently see more international visitors attending Digital Construction Week than we do from the North of the UK. We know that travel and time is a huge commitment, so we’re excited to bring you a showcase of AECO innovation that’s accessible right on your doorstep.

NICEIC calls for electricians to get ready for Britain’s battery boom

NVC Lighting appoints head of major projects

VC Lighting, a leading UK supplier of high quality and cost-eff ective commercial LED lighting solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Townshend as head of major projects.
James has been given a remit to expand the NVC Lighting name, working with customers old and new across a wide range of sectors and to utilise the brand’s extensive portfolio of products.
The appointment represents a return to the lighting market for James after 18 months working in web casting. His previous industry experience includes working in senior sales and key account manager roles for another well-known lighting manufacturer.
