Enhancements to the Pro range for 2024 include the launch of a new and improved version of its Addison Pro - an IP40 rated, high- output, decorative circular bulkhead fitting for commercial indoor areas.
All products in the range are L80, 100,000 hours rated and come with a comprehensive seven-year warranty.
Ideal in amenity areas like stairwells and corridors, the Addison Pro is ENEC approved. The single size bulkhead is available in two wattages (20W and 28W) and is colour selectable at 3000K,
The Addison Pro offers a full range of emergency and dimming options and can be supplied with a microwave sensor ready fitted behind the diffuser. The product also has optional snap-on trims for a more decorative finish.
Also re-engineered for 2024 is NVC Lighting’s highly regarded Yale Pro, which now comes with a two-part sliding end-cap for simple installation. This robust, low glare, multi-wattage fitting is ideal for surface or suspended use, making it

New Rigel Medical iOS 288+ Downloader app
The new downloader iOS 288+ mobile phone app from specialist Rigel Medical enables biomedical device engineers to improve electrical safety test data capture and management.
The app, which avoids the need to print off records, is part of a digital toolkit used to support the 288+, an electrical safety analyser designed to perform routine field tests on medical electrical equipment.
Data downloaded directly from the Rigel 288+ via Bluetooth connection to mobile devices improves traceability, and reduces the time-consuming process of transferring and storing completed test records to available asset maintenance software, as part of a planned preventive maintenance schedule. Available in English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish, the app allows company logos and other details together with personal signatures, to appear on individual engineer reports for secure identification. Single test results, multiple results, or all results can also be added to these reports by selecting the relevant checkbox, which can then be viewed and forwarded to databases in PDF and/or CSV formats.

The Axiom Industrial Control Gear range currently includes 415v 4-pole rotary isolators from 25- to 125-amp in either ABS polycarbonate moulded or sheet steel units, as well as 32- and 63-amp die cast aluminium options. Enclosures for this existing range are IP65-rated, designed with two knockouts on either side and come with a padlock facility. The new additions of 1500V 4-pole DC rotary isolators include 16-, 25- and 32- amp versions. Again in PC moulded units, these isolators have lockable pads and door interlock systems, where the unit cover only opens in the ‘Off’ position. IP66-rated and with TUV and UL approvals, these DC isolators are compact, reliable and easy to install, with excellent switching and high short-circuit capacity.
