Company Update We are one of only a handful of suppliers to
off er PVC Tray, an incredibly hard-wearing cable management solution developed specifi cally to meet the needs of aggressive or coastal environments, providing a lasting and durable solution. The tray is also lightweight and therefore easy to handle and transport as well as being simple to cut to length, therefore saving time and cost on installation.
Our enhanced Power Poles are now available in a number of specifi cations. The bright white modern poles sit at 3.5m and are extendable up to 3.95m, each including six gang boxes. This sub range undoubtedly complements and enhances our existing range, off ering customers more choice when it comes to specifying their cable containment solution and Power Pole spec. Our design team in Vienna once again helped us to produce a fi rst class product, with greater choice than those available through other suppliers.
Our products continue to be specifi ed across many diff erent sectors including high end residential, local authority, education, industrial, commercial and many more. Our business model relies very much on our relationship with the wholesaler, and as such we must ensure they understand the mechanics and thought behind our growing range as we introduce new models to market.
Our SLXL PVC LSF (Lower Smoke & Fume) Dado trunking is the latest three-compartment curved Dado trunking introduced to the market. This product has been designed for use in both power and the latest structured cabling, including CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, CAT7, 0M3 Fibre and the new CAT8 high density data solution. The SLXL PVC LSF is one of the largest three-compartment Dado trunkings available, allowing for extra data capacity where a considerable amount of data is required, and was designed for various market sectors including education, health, MOD and data centres, as well as commercial and industrial applications.
These new products, improvements and
modifi cations are testament to the resources we own in house, which allow us to introduce new quality products and accessories in very short timescales. We are of course seeing more projects employ a modular approach, and naturally specifi ers are keen to adapt this model across the wider specifi cation. We are developing bespoke pre-cut length to clients that are simply transported to site, placed and fi xed. Other adaptations are available in terms of colour, size

and more through discussion with our technical teams.
Needless to say, we still retain a keen eye on our core products and the introduction of bench trunking has added weight to our range. This is the ideal specifi cation for desktop cable containment, fi nished in white and is a great choice for any offi ce, school, healthcare or laboratory environment. The product has been designed with a full range of accessories and fi ttings ensuring it is adaptable enough for any desktop installation project. For those requiring DDA compliance, a variation with a light grey lid is also available.

Our business model relies very much on our relationship with the wholesaler, and as such we must ensure they understand the mechanics and thought behind our growing range as we introduce new models to market. We really do pride ourselves on the relationships we’ve built. Whilst we collaborate with some of the UK’s largest wholesalers, our
commitment to the independent wholesaler, with whom we have worked for many years, remains the same and we recognise the vital role they play in the wider success of our business. Understanding the needs of the end user is critical and it is through our conversations with wholesalers and contractors that we can establish what is needed both now and in the future. Our manufacturing team in Austria are incredibly responsive and there continues to be signifi cant investment in tooling and new extrusion lines in order to create the next generation of cable containment solutions. Our partnership with our global supply chain is also strong, and we are working on a number of important projects that we will introduce to the market throughout the year.
Whilst we grow, Univolt in the UK remains a
people-led business, and we have retained that close family culture that we crafted both here and with our global group counterparts. We have incredibly exciting plans in place, and our brand is growing and establishing itself across the UK with fi rm recognition as a leading supplier of cable management solutions.
