Now in its 16th year, it remains committed to spotlighting the safety and lifespan of electrical products. challenges. With a focus on key trends impacting the electrical product industry, attendees can expect a dynamic program featuring engaging presentations, panel discussions, and fi reside chats.
LEM inaugurates new high-tech plant in Malaysia
E
lectrical measurement technology specialist LEM has inaugurated a new €15.7m ($17m) state-of-the-art factory in Malaysia that combines environment- friendly design with advanced manufacturing technology. Setting up this new factory refl ects LEM’s growth plan, which is driven by increasing global demand for the company’s core products, current and voltage sensors.
LEM chose to make such a substantial investment in the state of Penang in recognition of the region’s expertise in semiconductor production.
From employing around 70 people in April 2024, LEM expects to increase the Headcount to more than 200 people by March 2025 and eventually more than 500, with sales from the factory expected to reach over €200m. With

Schneider Electric appoints new VP customer operations UK&I

chneider Electric has appointed Rhonda Doyle as its new vice president of customer operations in the UK and Ireland. The new role will see Rhonda take the lead on customer care, satisfaction and quality, business systems, business tendering and project management, alongside developing new strategies to transform end-to-end customer digital experiences. Prior to this, Rhonda held the post of senior director of fi eld service operations since joining Schneider Electric in 2021. During that time, she played an integral role in growing the services side of the business to support customers’ digitalisation and sustainability strategies. She was also instrumental in transforming internal processes, improving performance and service delivery, while helping projects to scale and meet customer requirements.
