EIC Update
Certsure team takes a leap of faith to support EIC On Saturday 24 May, 24 courageous colleagues from Certsure took part in a skydiving challenge to raise vital funds for the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC).
W
ith each team member leaping 14,000 feet, their aim was to support the industry’s safety net, which has provided practical, emotional and fi nancial aid to electrical and energy workers for well over a century. For event organiser Louise Quinn, the fundraiser carried particular signifi cance. “When I was going through a really tough patch, the counselling support from EIC made all the diff erence,” she explained. “My counsellor went above and beyond to be there when I needed it most. So, taking part in this challenge was my way of giving back to an organisation that has had such a positive impact on me and so many others in our industry.”
Thanks to generous donations from colleagues, clients and industry partners, the Certsure skydivers collectively raised over £10,000 for EIC. These funds will go directly towards :

The EIC has been in existence for over a century, supporting those in the electrical industry who are in need. Its services cover fi nancial support, mental health support and counselling, family and relationship matters and much more.
On average, the EIC sees approximately 30 new cases a week, with mental health services and counselling the most utilised provision among service users across the industry.
