aking place in the heart of London on Thursday 25 September 2025, Circular
Lighting Live 2025 has found a new home in the Minster Building Conference Centre near Tower Hill. New features include the Build Back Better
Awards 2025, the new Innovations in Sustainability track, exciting new formats such as the Just One Thing micro talks, a roster of expert speakers and the event’s most expansive exhibition area yet. The new, larger exhibition space will allow delegates to get up close with the latest developments in luminaires, materials, components and controls from a wide range of leading brands, representing a unique opportunity to see sustainable lighting products under one roof.
These enhancements build on the
overwhelmingly positive feedback from the 2024 event, which had a 13% increase in specifiers including lighting designers, consulting engineers and architects. The unanimous feedback from the 300
delegates attending in 2024 confirmed that Circular Lighting Live, now in its fourth year, provides essential information and clarity in what is both a vital, but also a rapidly changing landscape.
“CLL2024 was a fantastic event,” said Greg
Bristol of ASD lighting. “I came away awed by the challenge but inspired by the amazing people and companies working towards a more sustainable industry.” Martin Wherry of Glamox added: “Circular Lighting Live 2024 was an inspiring and essential gathering. It showcased how the industry is coming together to innovate around circularity, pushing the boundaries of sustainable lighting design while embracing AI and digitalisation.”
Show features The Build Back Better Awards 2025 will celebrate and reward creativity, innovation, social purpose and environmental leadership in a spectacular presentation ceremony in the main arena. Innovations in Sustainability, meanwhile, is a
hands-on track which will focus on deep dives into technologies and innovations with a role to play in decarbonising buildings. These will include sustainable materials, components,

Net Zero Lighting Conference In other Recolight news, the organisation’s Net Zero Lighting Conference was held on 29 April, offering attendees unique discussions and takeaways about achieving Net Zero, both from within the lighting sector and beyond. Maria del Mar Rojas, Europe engagement manager with The Science Based Targets initiative, (SBTi) told delegates that, “net zero is not a goal, it’s a deadline”. She went on to explain how companies can get their targets verified by SBTi and provided details of the arrangements available for smaller businesses. The conference also looked at forthcoming
standards for achieving net zero with a presentation from Rahul Shah, global director, built environment, at BSI. Rahul gave attendees an overview of the key current and planned carbon reduction and net zero standards. Rob
Allison, director of Auditel, outlined how public procurement is evolving to drive adoption of net zero requirements in different parts of the public sector. Mike Collett of Auditel, meanwhile, provided
delegates with practical advice on developing near term carbon reduction plans, including capital projects, process and procurement changes, and behavioural changes. Irene Mazzei, sustainability lead at Stoane Lighting, and John Gorse, country lead for public and government affairs at Signify gave insightful presentations on the challenges and opportunities that B Corp and Ecovadis certification can yield. The day concluded with case studies from
Thorn Lighting’s Mark Helm, Triton Showers’ Daniel Lintell, and Beko’s Andrew Mullen. All three gave tangible real world case studies of approaches taken to reduce operational carbon, and the importance of collecting actionable data. Commenting on the event, Nigel Harvey, CEO of Recolight said: “Fundamentally, this is not a competition in which there will be winners and losers. Rather, it is a race where we are all on the same side. We are collectively successful or otherwise – but working together increases the likelihood of better outcomes.”
