New Axiom weatherproof switches & sockets
Axiom Wiring Accessories’ new range of IP66 rated Weatherproof Switches and Sockets comprise 1 and 2 gang options for 13A 3 pin Switched Sockets, 2 way Switches with neon and for Empty Enclosures. In addition, there is a 2 gang Unswitched Socket and a 1 gang Connection Unit.
Robustly built for heavy duty use, quality features include brass earth terminals, stainless steel self-retaining screws and efficient gaskets for water protection. Installation is made easier with simple push out knockouts and space allowed for extra terminals, whilst in use benefits of the new sockets include positive switch contacts and the ease by which lids can be opened.
Finished in grey, this new Axiom range has full BSEN1363 approval for sockets plus BS EN0669 for switches and comes with a one year Guarantee.

Knightsbridge’s latest charging solutions offer up to 45W PD (Power Delivery) over a USB-C port and 18W QC (Quick Charge) over a USB-A port. For the first-time, power-hungry gadgets like laptops may now be charged straight from wall outlets using a 45W USB-C port and without the need for bulky adapters. The charging solution can also charge QC devices (mainly android-based smartphones) at up to 18W, allowing for a quick charge of up to 50% in under 30 minutes with compatible smartphones.
The high-performance 45W USB wall charger suite comprises two 230V 13A two-gang switched sockets and three 50mm x 50mm charging modules, depending on finish. The two 13A 2G switched sockets in curved
edge or square edge moulded white designs are available with dual earths for high integrity earthing, angled top-down terminals for quick installation, and are designed to accommodate 25-35mm back boxes.

These plates can all be customised with Knightsbridge’s complete selection of 25x50mm and 50x50mm euro modules – from A+C USB chargers and telecom ports, to its new touchless switches and PIR sensor modules.
Five finishes are offered: matt white, matt black, brushed chrome, smoked bronze and anthracite.
