polycarbonate (GRPC) options with ratings from 160A to 1000A for metal and up to 500A for GRPC. Enclosure features include top and bottom gland plates for steel enclosures, BS88 fuses and fuse shrouds (switch fuses), IP20 Incoming terminal shrouds, pre-fitted door earth links and ample wiring space. Scolmore continues to develop its Inceptor integrated lighting products and its new Inceptor Omni, brings to market a fire-rated downlight with cutting edge features – all competitively priced. Flexibility and ease of installation were key to
the Inceptor Omni’s design. Features include an adjustable colour temperature switch; interchangeable fixed and adjustable bezels and an insulation support clip for use when insulation is present. Inceptor Omni retains all the features and benefits that have made the original Inceptor products so popular. It incorporates Scolmore’s award-winning FlameGuard system technology, offering a 30, 60, and 90-minute fire rating, and is acoustic and airflow compliant. Its high powered compact driver allows it to be
fitted into a recess depth of just 65mm. It features the Flow Connector, Scolmore’s pre-wired connection system that is designed to speed up installation and to allow even faster removal for testing and replacement of components. Scolmore’s trademark blue strip of intumescent adds an extra barrier of protection against fire by expanding to fill the gap between the plasterboard and the light fitting. protection ratings with the fixed bezel now IP65- rated and the adjustable bezel with an IP54 rating. Part L compliant, Inceptor Omni comes with a

way to run cables though interior walls and other awkward spaces, saving installers time and hassle on tricky jobs. Cable Tongue is a 3.6m long flat, plastic flexible cable, specially designed with curved edges so it can slide easily through filled walls, above ceilings and under floors without catching on insulation or other obstacles. It can be bent into shape, making it
easy to feed through difficult areas, and a simple bend at the end of the tongue will

allow it to pop out of small exit holes too. To use the Cable Tongue, simply feed it
through the route where the cable needs to run, attach the cable to the tongue at the other end using electricians’ tape and pull back through. When you have finished with it, the Cable Tongue bends back into shape to store flat or coiled. Sam Horseman from Super Rod said:
