New demo from NeoCortec shows to easily and quickly create full sensor to cloud solutions using NeoMesh wireless mesh network technology


NeoCortec, the experts on wireless connectivity and providers of ultra-low- power bi-directional wireless mesh network hardware and software solutions, are showcasing a new demo on their stand (Hall 3 Stand 526) and in two of the exhibition halls. This demonstration illustrates the seamless and rapid development of full sensor-to-cloud solutions using NeoMesh Click boards from MikroE and the IoTConnect cloud solution from Avnet can be created. The demo is based on the recently launched NeoMesh Click boards from MikroE, which integrate all necessary sensors, are ideal for wireless mesh networking, and are available through Avnet’s user-friendly ecosystem. Interfaced directly with Avnet’s IoTConnect cloud solution, facilitating swift and straightforward data processing and analysis, the demo showcases the comprehensive functionality of a cloud-based sensor  metering, security, agriculture, transportation, Industry 4.0, medical, and food distribution. The Click boards™ from MikroE eliminate the need for engineers to create any development PCB hardware themselves, enabling them to initiate Proof-of-Concept testing of the NeoMesh network protocol stack in a real application quickly and at minimal cost. The Click Boards feature NeoCortec’s compact, low-power NC1000 and NC2400 network modules which address a broad range of applications based on IoT and Cloud-based sensor networks. Three versions of NeoMesh Click boards are available, one for each of the communication modules which operate at 868MHz, 915MHz and 2.4 GHz. Average power consumption is as low as 20uA.

Nicomatic DMM connectors comply with MIL-DTL-83513G performance standards and enable a wide range of modularity compared to other MIL-SPEC connectors, such as Micro-D or Sub-D. Engineers can customize pin count (both row and contact number), pin contact type (signal, power and coax/RF) and mounting style (board to board, board to wire, wire to wire, or panel mount) options. DMM connectors also allow space-saving, as well as providing electromagnetic and mechanical protection. The D53C is a new captive screw option developed by Nicomatic for all its DMM connectors. Its ‘mate- before-lock’ mechanism securely places and mates the connector before the screw is tightened.
