atateam Business Media, publisher of Components in Electronics (CIE) magazine and the organiser of The Electronics Industry Awards, is delighted to introduce this year’s judging panel:


Adam Fletcher, Chairman, Electronic Components Supply Network (ecsn) Adam Fletcher is chairman of the Electronic


Components Supply Network (ecsn), a business association established in 1970 that today offers support to all organisations with an interest in electronic components


throughout their entire lifecycle. He is also chairman of the International Distribution of Electronics Association (IDEA), an association of individual country electronic components associations whose objective is to arrive at and share best industry practice.


John Biggs, Chairman, ITSA John Biggs has spent over 40 years at senior manager or board level in the electronics industry and not for profit organisations. In 1984, he joined Spectrastrip, a UK electromechanical manufacturer, where he headed


up commercial activities. In 1992, John moved to HUBER+SUHNER as commercial manager and spent 22 years there in a number of UK and international roles. His final role was as managing director for Northern Europe. In 2008 John, along with two industry peers, established the Interconnect Technology Suppliers Association (ITSA). Since retiring in 2014 John has undertaken a number of consultancy roles. He is currently chairman of ITSA.

Peter Hannon, Vice Chair, ITSA


Peter Hannon is a qualified accountant. Over the last 30 years he has held a number of roles in the electronics industry for


companies like Texas Instruments and Power Innovations amongst others. He progressed from finance director to spending the last 15 years as managing


director of HARTING UK Ltd, the interconnection company, responsible for the UK & Ireland. Peter now advises SME’s and remains actively involved in trade associations for electronics and interconnectivity. He is currently vice chair of ITSA.


Aneela Rose, Founder and


Managing Director of Sussex-based Rose Media Group Aneela is a multi- award winning B2B PR specialist focusing on


sustainability in the


business sector. With an aerospace industry background and 25 years’ experience working within manufacturing and engineering, she is now specialising in green energy specifically around the topics of electrification of society, EV batteries and hydrogen fuel cell technology.


Richard Warrilow, Director, Declaration A qualified and experienced electronics design engineer and former technical journalist, Richard is co-founder and co-owner of technical content and media communications agency Declaration (est. 2001). He combines his engineering and writing experiences to create compelling


content for decision makers and is no stranger to the awards process; having won an Institution of Diagnostic Engineers award for his writing in 2011 and having helped two of Declaration’s clients secure Queen’s Awards. He was also on the 2022 Instrumentation Excellence Awards judging panel.
