Charcroft appoints new sales office and business development managers

C

harcroft Electronics, a specialist distributor and manufacturer of electronic components, has appointed Kelbie Lambert as sales office manager, based at the head- office in Llanwrtyd Wells, Wales, and Richard Sullivan as field-based business development manager covering customers across the UK and Ireland.

As the new sales office manager, Kelbie Lambert underpins the commitment to existing and new customers in harsh and mission-critical sectors.

Kelbie said: “The growing sales team will work closely with customers and suppliers to develop deeper engagement and support for new design-ins as well as legacy upgrade and maintenance projects. We will work in partnership with engineers to support electrical component selection, offer alternative solutions and introduce the latest innovations to optimise performance, availability, and cost. The focus will be on our core sectors which include aerospace, defence, industrial and

high-end audio, in addition to oil and gas.” With a young family, Kelbie spends much of his free time taking his family to amusement parks such as Legoland, Chessington World of Adventures and local soft-play activities.

New business development manager Richard Sullivan has been in the industry for 13 years, and has focused on electronic components, in addition to cable ties and industrial conveyor belts.

“I am passionate about driving growth, forging strategic partnerships and adding value,” Richard said. “Relationships are key within this industry, and my experience not only allows me to be a supplier, but also a partner for each customer, by helping to solve tough challenges.” Outside of work, Richard is a life-long supporter of Cardiff City football club and enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new places. Charcroft director Vicky Mellor explained: “The ability to develop rapid and original solutions is vital to ensure

Farnell announces season two of award-winning “Top Tech Voices” podcast

F

arnell, a global distributor of electronic components, products and solutions, has announced the return of its award-winning podcast series, Top Tech Voices, with the launch of season two.

Following the success of its previous season, Top Tech Voices returns with a renewed focus on how technology serves people — highlighting innovation that improves lives, protects what matters, and addresses real human challenges. The new season brings together leading thinkers, technologists and industry experts for in-depth conversations on the ideas shaping our future. Episode one, Mental Health & Technology: Navigating the Digital Mind, (https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=srzzlO2jJdo) has been released and explores the intersection between neuroscience, wellbeing and the digital world. The episode features neuroscientist, author and broadcaster Dr Jack Lewis who examines how technology can

both support and challenge mental health, and what individuals and organisations can do to optimise cognitive performance in an increasingly connected world.

Georgia Lewis-Anderson will once again host the series, guiding discussions across six episodes that cover topics including biohacking and human enhancement, smart cities, work–tech–life balance, sustainable technology, and neuroscience.

“When we launched Top Tech Voices, our goal was to create meaningful conversations that went beyond products and specifications,” said Rebeca Obregon, president of Farnell Global. “Season two builds on that success by exploring how technology can enable people, communities and better outcomes — because innovation matters most when it has a positive human impact.” Top Tech Voices has been recognised for its thoughtful, insight-led approach to technology storytelling, providing

a platform for credible expert voices and balanced discussion. The second season continues this editorial approach, prioritising real-world insight over promotion and positioning technology as an enabler rather than the headline. To mark the launch of season two, Farnell has also released an introductory video message from Rebeca Obregon (https://youtu.be/oHN7qZk7WXY), setting

the tone for the conversations ahead. New episodes of Top Tech Voices: Season

Two will be released every few weeks. Audiences can follow Farnell on social media and subscribe to its YouTube channel (https:// www.youtube.com/@FarnellGlobal/featured) to stay up to date and access new episodes as they launch.
