into real products and tackle both technical and ethical challenges emerging in modern embedded systems development.

Opening keynote

Richard J. Simoncic, COO Microchip Technology, will open the embedded world 2026 with his keynote “Learning from the Octopus: Nature’s Blueprint for Intelligence Everywhere”. He will share how nature’s blueprint inspires Microchip’s vision and how it can benefit the industry’s collective journey; moving beyond centralized “brains” to intelligent, secure, and sustainable nervous systems at every touch point. The keynote address of the embedded world Conference is open to all trade fair visitors.

Conference highlights

In 2026, the programme of the embedded world Conference (https://events.componeers. net/embedded-world-conference/overview) includes more than 200 sessions, tutorials, and classes – ranging from software engineering practices to hardware security and safety-critical embedded systems. Notably, the programme also features sessions on responsibility and sustainability in embedded technology, reflecting the industry’s increasing focus on ethical engineering.

Please note: A separate conference ticket is required for all sessions except the keynote.

electronic displays Conference 2026 – Beyond the Pixel

Held from 11–12 March 2026 and running parallel to embedded world, the electronic displays Conference (https://events. componeers.net/electronic-displays- conference) is dedicated to display technologies and display-powered systems. For over 28 years, it has been a must-attend event for engineers, UX specialists, product designers, researchers, and manufacturers from across the global display industry.

The 2026 conference theme, “Beyond the Pixel”, highlights innovation across the entire display ecosystem – from materials and interfaces to system integration and next-generation immersive user experiences. The event opens with a keynote session featuring five keynote presentations by renowned display market researchers on current market and technology trends – from the global display industry and the entire display ecosystem to fields of application such as in-car media. The programme of the electronic displays Conference (https://events.componeers.net/ electronic-displays-conference/program) features 15 sessions across eight specialised tracks, including: Automotive UX & Cockpit Interaction  Hardware Performance, Materials & Production

Metrology, Legibility & Testing IVI Connectivity & System Architectures  Market, Sustainability Strategy & Product Practice

Low-Power & Retail Displays XR & AR Display Systems Business Strategy & Supply Chain

These sessions showcase the newest results in display technology research, including MicroLEDs, OLED innovations, quantum-dot materials, flexible and stretchable displays, AR/VR microdisplays, and advanced optical measurement techniques.

Networking and expert exchange One of the greatest strengths of the electronic displays Conference is the opportunity for intensive, high-value discussions among experts from across the display value chain. Attendees can also explore the electronic displays area within the embedded world exhibition – an important added benefit that brings component developers, display integrators, and system designers together in one place.

The event concludes with an advanced display keynote session and the presentation of the Best Poster Award, selected from contributions showcased in the conference foyer.
