6012, Qualification and Performance Specification for Rigid Printed Boards, IPC-A-600, Acceptability of (Bare) Printed Boards, IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies, IPC/ WHMA-A-620, Requirements and Acceptance of Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies and J-STD-001, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies have all been updated in 2020/21 after a massive input of time freely given by trainers at ART Ltd.


Not only are Advanced Rework Technology Ltd the longest running IPC Approved Training Centre in the UK and only one of two Approved Training Centres globally to be authorised to conduct training for all the IPC training programmes including Certified Interconnect Design and Design Plus and both the J-STD 001, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies Space Addendum and IPC/WHMA-A-620, Acceptance of Cable and Wire Harnesses Space Addendum. We also pride ourselves on the bespoke training courses we tailor to suit your company and product needs. If IPC training is not necessary, the experienced staff and trainers at ART Ltd can work with the customer to design a syllabus that covers the discrimination and/or workmanship skills needed to enable your personnel to manufacture products that make you head and shoulders above the rest.


IPC documents and standards are produced by industry members and updated at regular intervals to ensure their accuracy and change in industry trends and technologies. IPC


The staff at ART Ltd have been recognised in the industry for their leadership and outstanding contributions in the development of IPC standards/documents and the associated training programmes. Debbie Wade is a past recipient of the IPC Presidents Award.


This leads us nicely to Debbie Wade, Managing Director and Master IPC Trainer who chairs many committees including European IPC Training Committee, IPC/WHMA-A-620 Training Committee, IPC-A-640, Acceptance Requirements for Fibre Optic Assemblies Training Committee and IPC Product Assurance Committee, European IPC Standards Development Committee. The European Committees allows industry members within the European region a recognised platform to assist with generating the criteria and processes contained in the IPC documents and training programmes and a networking opportunity to discuss legislations and challenges within Europe and how current or new standards could bridge these issues.
