Welcome to the latest edition of Footwear Today. First thing’s first, I’d like to introduce myself as the new Editor of the magazine. I’m very excited about this new opportunity and I very much look forward to hopefully meeting many of you over the course of this year! And what a fantastic time to get involved! Now the darkest days of the pandemic
are behind us everyone seems to be springing back into action as we adapt to a new kind of normal. Consumers are, understandably, increasingly savvy about how and where they spend their money, so there’s never been a more important time for retailers to engage with their audience. Showcasing the latest footwear fashions will ensure that your customers continue to visit as each new season approaches. And there are some very exciting trends emerging from all kinds of brands right now, and staying abreast of these is crucial in order to offer consumers the most comprehensive range of styles, shapes, colours and designs. Footwear Today is the UK’s oldest independent trade magazine for the footwear industry, and it’s the best place to keep up with all the latest news and reviews that’s important to footwear retailers.

Throughout her time on Footwear Today, Cheryl has forged a path for the magazine to be the leading voice of footwear retailing and ensured it has become a name that’s recognised everywhere across the industry.
