n Sunday 5 and Monday 6 February 2023, The National Conference Centre (NCC) in Birmingham played host to the latest edition of Footwear Today Live! The two-day event offered suppliers the chance to network and liaise with footwear retailers from across the UK. It was an opportunity for brands to put their best foot forward, showcasing the latest trends, materials and designs. And the show saw brilliant examples of this! As the publisher of Footwear Today magazine, the leading title for the footwear industry, we once again invited all independent and multiple footwear retailers to this remarkable event to see all the latest design trends for the upcoming seasons. It was the perfect mix of both brands and retailers under one roof – providing not just plenty of networking opportunities but an all-new buying location in a manageable and friendly environment.
The event also included a complimentary lunch and refreshments, plus a free-of-charge shuttle service between the NCC and the NEC train station. And there was free on-site parking for all visitors.
Priscilla Chase, Managing Director of The Healthy Back Bag Company, commented: “We enjoyed the February show! It was a cost effective way of presenting our products in a central, easily accessible location. “The venue is spacious, light and airy, parking and access was straightforward for both exhibitors and visitors and the free refreshments

and lunches for everyone was a plus, and enhanced the relaxed atmosphere.
“I am optimistic that this event will grow, and incorporate more accessories vendors like ourselves who, in recent years, have been missing an event where they are certain to see a critical mass of footwear retailers. We have already booked our place for September!” Callum Dowle, Brand Manager at Golden Concept, said that Footwear Today Live has continued to grow and impress wholesalers and retailers alike. “Bringing the footwear industry together, this event is one not to be missed,” he said.
“The simplicity and ease of access is quickly making this show our main event of the season. Just across the road from the NEC, NCC has excellent transport links to the rest of the country, with Birmingham International Station only a few minutes away.”
Mr Dowle continued: “As an exhibitor, we found Footwear Today Live to be excellent value, and we have already re-booked for September! If you’re interested in the world of footwear, this is an event you simply cannot afford to miss!”
