PREVIEW: FOOTWEAR TODAY LIVE

Footwear Today Live returns to Birmingham! T

Over 120 brands are signed up to exhibit at the next Footwear Today Live show in September! It’s shaping up to be another hugely successful event – one you simply cannot miss!

aking place on 3-4 September 2023 – back at the National Conference Centre (NCC) in Birmingham – Footwear Today Live will welcome a whole host of footwear suppliers and retailers for another successful buying event!

The two-day show will see over 120 brands coming together to network and liaise with footwear retailers from all across the UK. It’s an opportunity for suppliers to put their best foot forward, showcasing the latest trends, materials and designs. And for some it will be the first chance to see, in person, new ranges for upcoming seasons.

As the publisher of Footwear Today magazine, the leading title for the footwear industry, we are once again inviting all independent and multiple footwear retailers to this remarkable event to meet with their favourite brands, and hopefully make contacts for new future opportunities. It’s the perfect mix of both brands and retailers under one roof – with plenty of networking opportunities and providing an all-new, convenient and friendly buying location. The NCC offers a huge amount of space spread over several bright and airy rooms where brands are spread out with plenty of stock on display, but also plenty of space for attendees to sit and chat. After all, the show is just as much about the shoes as it is about networking and catching up with industry friends!

The event also includes a complimentary lunch and refreshments, plus free on-site parking at the venue for all visitors. Charlotte Steadman, Event Manager for Footwear Today Live, said: “I am delighted that the show has grown so much since it began, and especially since the February edition earlier this year. In September we will occupy the whole of the NCC!

“We’ve been very fortunate to have had some really positive feedback from the previous show, so we will incorporate all the same popular features again in September, plus a few crucial changes.

“As before, parking and access will be straightforward for both exhibitors and visitors, and I’m so pleased to once again offer free refreshments and lunch for everyone, which gives people the perfect chance to relax and catch up.

“I hope retailers find the show useful and informative. And I certainly hope to see as many of you there as possible when we open the doors on Sunday 3 September!”

Speaking after the February show this year, Priscilla Chase, Managing Director of The Healthy Back Bag Company, said accessories vendors like hers had been missing an event of this nature which sees a critical mass of footwear retailers. Ms Chase said she was pleased with her time at the previous show and booked her place for September straight after!

Meanwhile, Callum Dowle, Brand Manager at Golden Concept, said that Footwear Today Live has continued to grow and impress wholesalers and retailers alike. “Bringing the footwear industry together, this event is one not to be missed,” he said.

Mark your calendars now! Footwear Today Live returns to the NCC in Birmingham on Sunday 3 September 2023, 10am - 6pm, and Monday 4 September 2023, 9am - 6pm.
