Best of British showcases that highlight the best of British manufacturing and the latest innovations in the industry. The Best of British Showcase celebrates domestic manufacturing innovative manufacturing modes, category- One of the standout projects in the Best of led by Richard Noble OBE. This ambitious endeavour aims to break the world water speed record while promoting STEM education through an open intellectual
property rights policy. The project has already engaged over 2 million students, using real-time data for learning purposes. Visitors to the showcase will have the opportunity to learn more about the cutting- edge technology and engineering behind this record attempt.
The Made Smarter Innovation Showcase, on the other hand, brings together over 40 groundbreaking projects and businesses that are revolutionising UK manufacturing. Projects focus on net zero, productivity and resilience.
Inspiring the next generation SM&E Week 2024 places a strong emphasis innovators and engineers through its comprehensive STEM program. Designed to inspire and engage students and apprentices, shaping the future of manufacturing and engineering.
Automation Challenge, where the winning team from the Apprentice Automation Challenge will showcase their project, and young talent with the chance to pursue their passion for industrial robotics. The Enginuity Skills Awards, taking place during the week, will recognise apprentices, pioneers of skills development, and innovative engineers tackling society’s challenges.
