EKA associates has introduced two less expensive alternatives for


flameproof Ex d loop powered indicators featur ing large easy to re ad displays. The new IECEx and AT EX certified Ex eb instruments can be in Zones 1 a nd 2 in exactly


the same way stalled in


as a conventional flameproof Ex d 4/20mA loop powered i ndicator. They do not have entity parameters and do not requir e a Zener barrier or galvanic isolator.
