High pressure coolant pumps are traditionally set to accommodate the tool in the carousel with the largest coolant flow requirement. When tools with smaller orifices are employed, the unneeded coolant is returned to the supply tank through a bypass valve. This system is wasteful of power, heats up the coolant unnecessarily and reduces the life of the pump itself.

Hydra-Cell Intelligent pump control is an open loop system without pressure gauges and complex electrical feedback loops. It delivers just the right flow of coolant to maintain the required system pressure, regardless of tool orifice size.

As well as reducing the power requirement, co olant chillers can be smaller and consume less energy. Wanner International Lanner International Ltd

Seeley International’s evaporative cooling cts presented at SouthernManufactfacturing

eeley International are world leaders in designing and manufacturing highly efficient evaporative cooling solutions.

Evaporative cooling is the most efficient option when cooling large areas, especially industrial and commercial spaces. Refrigerant Air conditioning is not an option, because the capital and running costs would be extremely prohibitive.

Evaporative coolers do not use any sort of chemical refrigerants to cool the air, just water which is supplied by a pump to the wetted media where evaporation occurs and electrical power building. Evaporative coolers use up to 87% less energy than conventiona That all adds up to very responsible environmental and energy saving characteristics.

It is important to remember that cooled air inside the building is not recirculated, so doors or windows must be left open for this air to escape, alternatively extract fans can be installed. This can be a great solution to improve indoor air quality, in production areas where fumes and dust particles are a problem. Evaporative air coolers blow 100% fresh air into the building from outside and actually filter the inco ming air removing most airborne dust and pollen particles. The wet cooling pads trap most of these particles, which are washed down into the sump by the circulating water.

Seeley International will showcase evaporative cooling solutions branded Breezair and Climate Wizard at the Southern Manufacturing exhibition, which will take place at Farnborough from 5th to 7th February, on stand number A 315.
